Before I got here, a friend with hospital experience sent me a list of things to bring. #2 on the list: soft teddy bear. I thought that was cute.
And now here I am, sleeping with my own oddly comforting iteration — a horse who just showed up, along with a container of plastic dinosaurs which MUST be distributed surreptitiously around the hospital. (Thank you, Benny!)
You could call it Rain. Which follows in the same vein. Or Reign! YEAH!
