. . .and our assets?
With muscles weakening progressively over the past few weeks, each morning I’ve done the equivalent of that scene from Princess Bride where Westley asks:
“What are our liabilities?” (Can no longer raise head when lying on belly; can’t lift leg when lying on side. Can’t flip the top on contact solution.)
“And our assets?” (Arms showed up, can still hold Downward-Facing Dog. Feet do not seem to have weakened at all. Balance is still great.)
I can still move my little finger, thank goodness — but am very grateful that the odds are good my time at Hospital Camp will turn this muscle-weakening train around so that these daily assessments will no longer be necessary — or quite so dramatic.
Let’s hear it for these guys! A little puffy these days thanks to steroids, but, man, these two have been rock stars. Go, FEET! |
What pretty legs! Turning the "muscle-weakening train' into the Little Engine that Could!!
